38 years battling an eating disorder of many shapes and sizes brought me to my 7th attempt at treatment. Hard to believe this part of the journey started 6 months ago when I entered Rosewood. So incredibly grateful for the staff putting up with me and guiding me towards recovery when I wasn’t sure it was possible. Also thankful and blessed for the many wonderful life long friends I made along the way. Today I am 6 months without a drink. Nearly 5 months purge free and almost 6 months without a cigarette. I still struggle with getting all my meals in, but recovery isn’t perfect and I am OK with that! I am going to celebrate the successes, not beat myself up over the negatives.
