Family Therapist Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders

Billie Church, MC, LPC, CEDS, is the Family Therapist at Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders. Billie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona, a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS).  With nearly 25 years of counseling experience, Billie specializes in working with adults, teens, children and families suffering from family discord, lack of communication, relationship challenges and eating disorders.

Currently and for the past seven years, Billie has facilitated Rosewood’s Family Week Program as the family therapist for the adult and adolescent patients of Rosewood. She is responsible for implementing the intensive five-day program, which includes educational lectures and intensive communication exercises, as well as assisting with equine therapy with the families. Billie believes that family involvement is key to the healing and recovery process.

Striving to create an empathic, safe, nonjudgmental and supportive environment, Billie believes that it is imperative that patients play an active role in their own journey of recovery and wellness. She deeply appreciates the process of seeing individuals and families grow as they journey together on their path toward recovery and healing. With compassion as a guiding principle for Billie and her interactions with patients, she believes that every individual has the capacity to recover and heal from their pain and challenges.
