Firing of Oakland Basketball Coach Highlights Eating Disorder Issues in College Sports

The firing of Oakland University women’s basketball coach, Beckie Francis, calls attention to the need for healthy coaching practices. According to a story in USA today, Francis took before and after photos of players in sports bras and spandex, while pressuring them to lose weight.
