Rosewood Tempe

Rosewood TempeTM Outpatient Clinic is a general outpatient counseling and psychiatric services program that is specifically designed to meet the needs of our clients.  We are here to help with a broad range of issues from depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral problems, addictions, family or relationship conflicts, and eating disorders.  The purpose of the Rosewood Intensive Outpatient program is two fold:

  • To provide therapy for adults and adolescents who have an eating disorder diagnosis but do not meet the criteria for inpatient treatment.
  • To provide transitional support for adults and adolescents who have completed an inpatient eating disorder treatment program.

Description of Services:

Counseling services are provided by a Licensed Counselor and include individual, group, and when indicated, family therapy.  Group counseling is offered five days a week, Monday through Saturday.  Individual and family counseling maybe scheduled on an "as needed" basis.  Co-occurring problems such as substance abuse, post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, etc. are also treated in conjunction with the client's eating disorder.

Adolescents are separate from adult clients.  They have their own Therapist and all groups are age appropriate.

Rosewood Tempe Outpatient Clinic completes the continuum of care at Rosewood.  Our IOP programs provide structure for adults and adolescents who have an eating disorder diagnosis but do not require inpatient treatment.  These programs also serve as transitional support for patients who have completed an inpatient eating disorder treatment program.

Rosewood offers Intensive Outpatient Programs as well as Outpatient Services in multiple locations in both Arizona and California.  The Rosewood Tempe IOP program is conveniently located adjacent to the ASU Campus.  Additionally, safe and secure transitional housing is available at each IOP program to accommodate persons attending the programs away from their homes.

Rosewood is committed to offering a full continuum of care from Inpatient Residentials, Partial Hospitalization with housing, IOP, Outpatient Services and Transitional living.  We believe that the longer the patient and Rosewood are engaged in a productive treatment dialog, the greater the chances of success and lifelong recovery.

Transitional Living

Because the first few months of recovery can be the most challenging, Rosewood Tempe is pleased to offer transitional living services at Tempe House. Tempe House provides a supportive environment that is conducive to the recovery process.  Located in a quite, charming neighborhood just blocks away from Rosewood Tempe.

Tempe House is a spacious five bedroom four bathroom home, with a full-kitchen, living room, and great room, creating the perfect environment for recovery. Tempe House promotes the development of daily living and recovery skills. These skills include: Meal planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and relapse prevention.

At Tempe House, residents are encouraged to work, attend school, or volunteer as a way to engage with the community.  A Rosewood staff member provides overnight and weekend supervision for those living in the house.  Individuals will develop confidence in their recovery skills within the supportive environment of Tempe House.
